Subject:Cottage in Bodony

We have been to Bodony in July 2010 and we really enjoyed our holiday at the small cottage. The house is very comfortable, has a fully equipped kitchen and a traditionally decorated living room with TV, CD-player and wood burner. We loved to relax at the veranda with its vine branch and the beautiful garden. Bodony is a very small village. You can buy everything you need in Parad, which is nearby Bodony. Edina helped us in organizing a horse-riding lesson. It was a great experience!

Dear Edina - thanks again for everything! We really hope to come back soon!

Subject:Easter Holiday

Myself and my partner Ben had a weeks holidays on a half board basis at the Matya Guest House in the village of Paradfurdo. Edina and her brother made us feel very welcome and couldnt do enough for us during our stay. The horse riding was really good fun and after a few lessons I felt alot more confident on my horse. This part of Hungary is very beautiful and has lots to offer (we visited the famous City of Edger, had lots of fun at the oxygen fun park and I even treated myself to relaxing massage). I would recommend this holiday to my friends, as it is a chance to get away from it all and do as much or as little as you please.

My wife and I went for a long weekend and loved it. Mark and Edina were extremely accommodating and helpful. We went horse riding and went to the Sulfur baths. Good times!

We all had a great time at the cottage in Bodony. The cottage itself was very comfortable and had a great verandah and garden which we all utilised throughout the day.
The children especially enjoyed the climbing frame and the garden and being able to pick the vegetables.
The riding took us through some spectatcular countryside that we would have not seen had we not been in the saddle and was very much geared to individual's abilities.
Edina and Mark were extremely hospitable and really helpful in terms of getting the best out of our holiday in Hungary.
Hope to come back again soon

The first thing I did when I arrived home to Canada was to email my riding buddies to try to set up a return visit to share with them. (No exaggeration - I unpacked after that.) I can only confirm all the superlatives appearing in the glowing comments from other guests. Edina, Mark, Laci, Lidia and Bela and the girls are the kind of hosts who create an atmosphere where all guests can join in a community of delight, enjoying the things that life is for - family, food, energy and accomplishment. Next time I come, I know I will find Hansel and Gretel somewhere in those woods, and I will bring a suitcase big enough to hold Betyar to bring him home with me. What a great trustworthy guy he is!
I knew I would love the holiday for my own reasons, but Edina and her crew, including her lovely Mum, gave me more than I could ever have imagined. Five stars is inadequate for my rating. Try intergalactic!!
To any Canadian adventurers, this is a holiday arrangement you don't want to miss. All the challenge of our wilderness during the day, and all the refinement of Eastern European culture after hours. A tempting paradox.
